Huawei wanted to release their first High-Power tablet in style with a creative touch added on top. The location was set on Barcelona’s greatest technology meeting of the year: WMA. The client wanted to engage the customers in exploring the product in a few simple steps, while giving them a custom made reward each step. We started looking for great artisan leatherworkers, fashion designers and artists from Spain.

The first reward were 2 custom Huawei bookmarks, the second reward was a custom leather notebook, the third was your notebook customisation with your name and Huawei’s logo pressed beautifully into the leather, the final reward customers could earn was a Polaroid picture (with Huawei overlay) taken before the most iconic spot of the stand (no pun intended).

During the four days of WMA we interviewed the creative people who were designing their original concepts on the Huawei Matebook and how they experienced their enhanced creative skills on the tablet. In between there were some big guests who flew over from all over the world to experience the tablet first hand, who we interviewed to share their view of the ever simplifying of their daily tasks thanks to the new software on the tablet.

Everyone of course had their chance to test out the new products. Most people were so impressed they kept on testing and returning to the the stand, having them leave with a hunger to rush towards the stores at the end of the day. Thanks to the many observations, wee knew we hit the mark dead on.
